PETG that prints like PLA

A cleaner print, from start to finish - A reworked formula helps reduce the stringing, blobs, and clogs often associated with traditional PETG. Crisp details, clean bridges, and smooth overhangs come standard. Even on long prints with hours of travel between features, the results stay reliable and consistent, with a printing experience that feels as smooth as PLA.

Less fuss about humidity - Bambu PETG Matte handles moisture better than most PETG filaments. Its reformulated base offers improved resistance to ambient humidity, so a spool taken straight off the shelf still prints the way it should*. *Extended exposure above 72 hours at 50% humidity still calls for drying. Supports that actually come off - PETG is notorious for supports that fuse to the model, the kind you have to wrestle off with pliers. Bambu PETG Matte makes removal easier. Even on steep overhangs and deep holes, supports peel away by hand, leaving the surface underneath smooth and clean. No extra support material needed.

Printing Tips

1. Accessory Compatibility
Compatible with all printers, AMS, build plate, and nozzles.

2. Drying Recommendations
Dry the filament before printing if it has been exposed to humidity above 50% RH for more than 72 hours. For more details, please refer to: Filament drying instructions on WIKI.

3. Refill Guidelines
The refill filament needs to be used with a spool. For detailed instructions on how to swap in the new filament using the Bambu Reusable Spool, please refer to the guide on WIKI.

4. Important Notice

  • Bambu PETG Matte adheres strongly to PEI build plates. Let the build plate cool fully before removing the print to help avoid damage to both the plate and the bottom surface of the printed object. For more guidance, search "PETG Usage Guide" on the Bambu Lab Wiki.
  • Bambu PETG Matte uses a specially modified formula to enable easy support removal, the matte finish, and strong layer adhesion. This greatly improves same-material support peel performance, but PETG Matte is not recommended as a support for PLA. For multi-material support, use Bambu PETG Basic

 5.Safety Tips

  • Please store the filament in a cool, dark, and dry environment away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.
  • Please keep filament and any broken fragments out of reach of infants, children, and pets to prevent swallowing or choking.
  • For opened filament, we recommend drying before use according to the wiki’s recommended temperature and time settings.
  • Please print this filament in a well-ventilated area, or install an effective air filtration or exhaust system.
  • As this filament is not food-grade, please avoid using finished prints for food storage or contact. 
  • As this filament is highly moisture-absorbent, please place any unused filament in a sealed container with desiccant immediately, and dry thoroughly before printing.
