To give a comparison, ObXiDian 500’s wear performance is increased over ObXidian by at least a factor of five so it will last much longer and therefore need swapping out a lot less often. Also, a lot of popular abrasive materials simply won’t wear an ObXiDian 500 nozzle whereas they would eventually wear an ObXidian nozzle (albeit slower than a hardened steel nozzle).
